Tet Festival is a ‘must-go’

Following are the first few paragraphs of Tony on the Town’s column. To read the entire column about the upcoming Tet Festival, check out Wednesday’s Orange County News.

It’s less than a month away.

And I can’t wait.

The Tet Festival, one of the biggest events in Orange County, will be held in Westminster and Garden Grove in early February, per usual. The Tet Festival, as many of you know, is the Vietnamese celebration of the Lunar New Year.

You know the term “must see?” I’ll coin my own term: this event is a “must go.”

Homage to a king

MLK day is Monday. A great way to pay tribute to this great American is to listen to his speeches. Or listen to one. Or practice non-violence. Or support civil rights and human rights for all.

An early happy birthday, Dr. King.
